Pricewaterhouse Coopers

Our office is situated at 11 1 Watkins Lane in Howrah 711 101. It is a narrow lane and things can get a bit cramped when there are deliveries or many people passing through at once. The Pricewaterhouse Coopers team here is quite small but we stay busy from the moment we open the doors. We spend a lot of time on the phone and replying to letters that come in. The building is an older one and it has its own character with creaky floors and windows that don't always want to stay open. We have our computers set up on long tables and everyone has their own stack of work to get through. It is a no-nonsense kind of place where we focus on getting the details right. Howrah is a bustling area and being near the station means there is always a sense of movement around us. We usually bring our own tea from home in thermoses because we like it a certain way. There are no polished floors or shiny glass walls here, just a solid place to work and do our bit. We have a lot of respect for the process and we just keep our heads down and do the work that is expected of us. It is a simple life but we are content with how things run in our little corner of Watkins Lane.
