Premier Engineers

Premier Engineers is based over on Ganesh Chandra Avenue, right in the middle of all the noise. We are in the Business Point building on the ground floor, specifically in Room 6A. Being on the ground floor is actually pretty convenient because we do not have to wait for the elevator like everyone else in this block. The room is big enough for our desks and a few metal cabinets full of technical manuals and spare parts. Most days, we are just looking at blueprints or talking to contractors about what they need for their upcoming projects. It gets a bit loud outside with all the cars and people rushing around, but once you are inside the room, it is not too bad. We have been at this location for a while now, so the local chai wala knows exactly how we like our tea without us even asking. We do not really do anything flashy here. It is mostly just making sure the engineering supplies are sorted and the orders go out when they should. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk, and it takes us a whole afternoon just to get through the filing. The lighting in the back of the room is a bit dim, but we have some lamps to help with that. It feels like a real workspace, with some grease on the rags and the smell of metal every now and then. We just show up and do the work.
