Prateek Enterprise

My business, Prateek Enterprise, is located at 42A 9 Rndas Road in the Dhakuria area of Kolkata. The pin code is 700031. This part of West Bengal is very dear to me. Dhakuria is a place with a lot of character and history. The office is on a street that gets quite busy during the day, but it has that classic Kolkata feel with the old buildings and the nearby local markets. I spend most of my time here looking after things and managing the daily work. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy. The building itself is an older structure, and the rooms have high ceilings which helps a bit with the heat in the summer months. During the monsoon, the rain sounds very loud against the windows, and sometimes the street outside gets a little flooded, but that’s just part of living here. I usually start my morning by opening the shutters and checking on things or the paperwork from the day before. I’ve known most of the other shop owners on Rndas Road for a long time, so we often help each other out. It’s a practical way of working. I don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. I just focus on doing my job and making sure the people who come to us are taken care of properly. It's a simple life but it's consistent.
