We are Prasad Castings & Buildcon LLP, and you’ll find our office on the 8th Floor, Room No. 8A at 34A Metcalf Street. This is right in the heart of Kolkata, zip code 700013. Being up on the eighth floor means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, which is nice given how hot it gets. Our work involves a mix of castings and construction, so there’s always something different going on. Some days it’s all about the technical specs of a casting job, and other days we are focusing on building plans. The room we’re in is just big enough for the few of us and our equipment. Metcalf Street is a busy place, and there’s always something happening outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people in the building. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have fancy receptionists or anything; if you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk surrounded by papers. We take our work seriously, but we don’t feel the need to dress it up in marketing talk. We just do the job, handle the problems that come up, and try to keep our clients satisfied with the actual results. It's a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we've gotten used to that over time. It's just part of the routine for us here in the city.
