We’re located at 25/248, Prince Golam Mohammed Shah Road in Kolkata. It’s a decent area, fairly easy to find if you know where the main road turns. Pra Designs is a small outfit. We focus on design work, but the way we do it is pretty low-key. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a practical space where we can sit and work on our drawings and layouts. We have a few big tables that stay messy most of the week because we’re usually in the middle of something. It gets a bit crowded when we have everyone in at the same time, but we make it work. Living and working in Kolkata means we deal with the humidity and the noise, but that’s just part of the deal. We try to keep things simple. Usually, one of us is making coffee while the others are arguing about a specific color or a line on a page. We aren't interested in being a big corporate firm. We just like the process of making things look right. The address 700033 is home for us during the day. We’ve been at this for a bit, and we’ve learned that being honest about what we can do works better than promising the world. It’s just a regular design shop with people who enjoy what they do, even if the office gets a bit dusty and the piles of paper never seem to shrink.
