Impressions

Impressions is located on H.K Seth Lane, just off Dum Dum Road. It’s 28/3C if you’re looking for the house number. We’ve been in this little corner for a long time. People around Dum Dum know us for all sorts of odd jobs. We do things involving paper and designs. It’s a small workshop, really. You can usually hear the machines humming from the street. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper, but we keep it organized as much as we can. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose. It’s easier to talk to people when you’re not a big company. We see a lot of students and local business owners who need things printed or fixed up. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the afternoon with a wrench, but we always get it sorted. The lane is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache, but people find a way. We don't do much advertising. We just figure if we do a decent job, people will come back. And they usually do. It’s a nice feeling when a neighbor stops in just to say hello. We’re just regular people working with our hands. Dum Dum Road is always noisy, but back here on the lane, it’s a bit quieter and we can focus on the ink and paper. We just keep plugging away at it.
