Design Monde

We are based at 87 Ripon Street in Kolkata. It is an old part of the city with a lot of character. The building has those high ceilings and thick walls that you don’t see much anymore. It gets quite busy on the street outside with the yellow taxis and the people walking by. We’ve been in this spot for some time now. Our workspace is filled with old desks and a lot of paper. We aren't really the type to use all the latest fancy gadgets if the old ones still work. It's a bit of a walk from the main crossing but it's easy enough to find. Kolkata has a certain way of doing things, and we fit right into that. We take our tea breaks seriously. Usually, we sit around and discuss the day’s tasks without much formality. There is no bossing around here. Everyone knows what they have to do. We deal with all sorts of design work, mostly just trying to make things look decent and function well. Sometimes the power goes out in the summer, so we just wait it out. It’s part of the charm of Ripon Street. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. We just do the work and let that speak for itself. It is a humble setup. We like being in this part of town because it feels real and grounded.
