Thursday Design

We are located at 296 Dakshindari Road, which is right near the Sreebhumi Post Office in the Lake Town area. Thursday Design is just a small local shop where we spend our days working on various projects. It is not a very big space, but it has enough room for our computers and the tables where we sketch out ideas. We started this because we like the process of creating things. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of clicking mice and some music playing in the background. The street outside is usually quite busy with people heading to the post office or just passing through Lake Town. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People who need work done usually just come in and sit by our desks to talk about what they want. It is a very informal way of doing things, but it seems to work for everyone. We handle a bit of everything, from small layouts to bigger visual tasks. Sometimes the place gets a bit messy with paper and coffee mugs, but that is just how we work. We aren't trying to be a huge agency with fancy titles. We are just a few people who know how to use the tools and want to do a decent job for the folks who walk through our door on Dakshindari Road. It's a simple life here, and we like the neighborhood feel of this part of town.
