Jaysree Exports

Jaysree Exports is based out in Sodepur, specifically at B-22 Amarabati. Being a bit further out from the main city center of Kolkata makes things a little different for us. It’s a bit quieter around here compared to the downtown offices, which we mostly appreciate. Our setup is pretty simple. It’s a ground-floor space that we’ve converted to handle our export business. We have a lot of storage area because we need to keep things on hand before they get sent out. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few notes taped up near the phone. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s answering the door or checking the inventory in the back. The neighborhood of Amarabati is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down when we are loading stuff. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s a very relaxed way of working, but we still make sure all the deadlines are met. We’ve been part of this community for a while now. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, just a local business trying to do things properly and keep things moving. We usually finish up early on Saturdays to spend time with our families.
