Our office for Planman Consulting India Pvt Ltd is over here in the Basu area of Kolkata. If you know West Bengal, you know how the traffic gets around the 700 099 pincode. It’s a busy spot. We’ve been here for a while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we show up and do the work. Most days it’s just us handling the usual consulting stuff that comes our way. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all the time. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, which is just how things are in this part of town. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. There’s a small tea stall just down the road where most of us go during the break to talk about the local news or whatever is happening. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get through their lists. We deal with various papers and clients, nothing too exciting to tell. You might miss the entrance if you’re not looking closely because the sign is a bit small. It’s just how we operate here. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders as long as the desks are functional and the coffee is hot enough. It is just a job for the most of us.
