You’ll find us in Jadavpur, right in the thick of things in Kolkata-32. Planethr Peoplesource is basically a small group of us working on human resources and recruitment. Jadavpur is a lively place, always full of students and noise from the buses, and our office is right in the middle of that energy. We spend most of our time looking through piles of resumes or talking to people looking for their next move. It’s not a complicated business model. Companies need people, and people need work. We just act as the middle ground. Some days are just a long string of phone calls that don’t seem to end. We don't really use a lot of fancy corporate jargon because it doesn't help get the job done. We just talk to people like normal human beings. The office isn't anything to write home about, just a functional space where we can sit and focus. We’ve seen all sorts of candidates come through, from youngsters just starting out to older folks looking for a change. We just take it as it comes. Being in Jadavpur means we’re easy to get to, which helps. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just look at the requirements and see who fits. It’s a daily grind, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep plugging away at the spreadsheets and the interviews.
