If you head over to Shakespeare Sarani and go up to the 8th floor, that’s where you’ll find the Pg Foils office. It’s a busy spot in the city. Dealing with foils is a lot more technical than some might think, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. Most of our time is spent looking at production schedules and talking to folks who need packaging materials. Being on the 8th floor gives us a bit of a view, but usually, we are too busy to look out the window. The phones ring quite a bit throughout the day. We have a small group here who keeps everything moving. It can get a little cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way during a hectic week. It’s not a glamorous job, just honest work making sure the foil rolls are made correctly. We deal with all sorts of people who need different thicknesses or sizes for their own businesses. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the supply chain doesn't break down on our end. People know they can find us here if they need to talk about an order. It’s just how we do things every day. There is always a stack of paperwork to get through before we head home.
