Kolkata is a city that never really stops, and being in the Agarwal Building puts us right in the middle of all that noise and energy. The building itself is one of those classic Kolkata structures that has seen a lot of years pass by. Our office for Percentage is just a few rooms where we keep all our equipment and paper records. It can get a bit dusty with the windows open, but we like having the fresh air when it’s not too hot outside. There are a lot of other businesses in the Agarwal Building, so there’s a constant stream of people walking through the hallways. We know the security guard and the people who run the little tea shop just downstairs. It’s a very local feel here. We aren't some big corporation with branches in every city. We are just here in Kolkata, doing what Percentage does every day. Some days are much busier than others, especially when there’s a lot of mail to sort through or people to call. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, do the work, and close up in the evening. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve been at this address for a bit and it feels like home now.
