PEARAPUR CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is located on the 5th floor of 63/3B, Sarat Bose Road. It’s a pretty busy area of Kolkata, so there’s always something happening right outside our windows. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy looking at blueprints to notice it much. We’ve been here for a while and the office has that lived-in feel. There are stacks of files everywhere and the coffee machine is always running. We are just a construction company that focuses on getting projects completed. We don’t have any polished speeches about our values or anything like that. We just think it’s important to show up and do the work we said we would do. Most of our days are spent coordinating with different crews and making sure we have the right permits in place. It’s a lot of logistical stuff that isn’t very exciting but has to happen. We aren't a huge firm, so when you call, you usually talk to one of the three or four of us who are actually in the office. We like the directness of that. We try to keep things simple and avoid making things more complicated than they need to be. Construction has enough challenges without us adding more to it. We just keep our focus on the current task and move on to the next.
