Arc Exports

Arc Exports is located over on Raja Ramchand Ghat Road, near Panihati. Being near the water is nice, though it gets quite humid in the summer. Our building is pretty simple, just a place to store things and an office space tucked in the front. We’ve been here for a long time, and the locals all know us. We handle exports, which means we spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and checking container sizes. It’s dusty work sometimes, especially when the wind blows off the road. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a gate and a yard where things get loaded up. The staff here is small, mostly people who live nearby. We know our way around the port rules and how to get things moving. Sometimes we have to deal with delays at the docks, which is frustrating, but that’s just part of the job. We usually have a bit of a chat with the neighbors in the morning before things get busy. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do what needs to be done and try to stay out of trouble. The sunset over the river is probably the best part of working here. We’re just a local business doing our part in the export trade, nothing more than that. It’s hard work, but we like being part of the community here in Panihati.
