It’s been a while since we set up here on Ramkamal Street. Khidirpur is a busy area, lots of traffic and people moving around all day. We are right at number 13. Most people around here know the spot. The building is just a normal place where we handle things for Panasonic Home Appliances India Co Ltd. It gets noisy outside with the trucks and the local markets nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We spend our mornings getting the floor ready and checking the inventory. Some days are slower than others. When the rain comes, the street gets a bit messy, but we keep the doors open. Staff usually grab tea from the stall around the corner during breaks. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a practical space. We’ve got stacks of boxes and paperwork that needs doing. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello or ask a question. People in Khidirpur are like that. We try to keep things organized, though it's a lot of work with all the different appliances coming through. The light inside isn't always the brightest, but it works for what we do. You find your way around the piles of stock pretty quickly once you’ve been here a few days. It's just a regular workplace where everyone knows their job and gets on with it without much fuss.
