Pamac is located at 185/186/3/4 Shibpur Road in Howrah. We are associated with Tata-AIG LIC Ltd, so we deal with a lot of insurance-related matters. The office is right on Shibpur Road, which is always packed with people and vehicles. It’s a loud and energetic place to work. We spend most of our time looking at policy papers and helping people understand what they are signing. There are four different room numbers in our address because the space is spread out a bit oddly across the building. It’s not a seamless, modern office. It feels more like a collection of rooms where work gets done. We have a lot of cupboards filled with old files and new folders. Howrah is a place where you have to be tough and keep moving, and our office reflects that. We don't have fancy furniture or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some sugar for when we need a break. Most of our visitors are local residents who have been coming to this road for years. We talk to them in plain language without using too much jargon from the insurance world. It’s just about getting the paperwork right and making sure everyone knows what is happening with their accounts. The floors are worn down from so many feet, but it just shows we have been here a long time.
