We have been working out of the third floor of Rawdon Chambers for a bit now. You can find us at 11A Sarojini Naidu Sarani here in Kolkata. Most days we are just buried in blueprints and phone calls trying to keep things moving. Construction in a city like this isn't always easy because of the heat and the logistical mess of getting materials through narrow streets. We focus on the work at hand. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped with all the files stacked up on the desks. We're a small group of people who just want to get the building work done right. People stop by the office and we talk about site updates or permit delays. It is just the reality of the business. Sarojini Naidu Sarani is a busy spot so there is always noise outside our windows. We have seen the area change a lot over the years. Getting to the 3rd floor is part of the daily routine for everyone on the team. We don't have fancy lobbies or anything like that. It's just a functional space where we handle the technical side of our construction projects. We know the local vendors and we try to keep things as straightforward as possible. It is hard work but it keeps us busy. We are usually here from early morning until the evening when the traffic starts getting really bad again.
