It’s a residential area, so it’s quite different from a typical office block in the middle of town. The pin code is 700075. We work out of this flat, which makes it feel a bit more personal and less like a cold corporate building. Even though the name mentions Tokyo, we are the local presence right here. It’s a quiet neighborhood in Sontoshpur, and the apartment is a comfortable place to get work done without too many distractions. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just a normal flat where we handle our business every day. Most of our days are spent on calls or doing paperwork on the computer. It’s not a place where many people just walk in off the street. We usually have our scheduled tasks and we stick to them. Modern Park is a decent area to be based in. It’s away from the extreme noise of the city center. We’ve set up our desks and equipment in a way that works for our small team. It’s a bit of a mixed feeling, having a name from Japan but working out of a flat in Calcutta, but we make it work for us. It is just how our branch operates for now.
