We are located on the 4th floor of number 14, Netaji Subhas Road. It’s one of those old buildings with a lot of history in the walls. The lift can be a bit temperamental, so many of us just take the stairs to get to the fourth floor. It keeps us moving. Our work is all about sales promotion, which basically means we spend our time thinking of ways to help get products noticed. The office is filled with samples, posters, and various bits of promotional materials scattered around. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The street below is always packed with people and traffic, and the noise drifts up even to the fourth floor. We have big windows that look out over the city, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We don't have a big corporate HR department or a fancy coffee machine. We just make tea in the small pantry and get on with the day’s tasks. Most of us have been here for years and know the vendors in the area by name. It’s a busy, cramped, but productive space. We focus on the practical side of marketing without all the jargon you hear these days. It’s just us doing our job in the heart of the business district, trying to stay ahead of the deadlines and keep things moving for everyone involved in the process here.
