We are located up on the 4th floor at P 36, India Exchange Place. It’s a busy part of town, and the building always has people coming and going. Running P K Engineering & Forging Pvt Ltd from here means we spend a lot of time on the phone and handling paperwork related to the workshop and the forging side of things. It’s not the most glamorous office you’ll ever see. We have blueprints scattered around and the smell of coffee is pretty much constant. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often end up taking the stairs. We deal with a lot of industrial clients, and things can get pretty hectic when a big order comes in. It’s a lot of coordination between the office here and what’s happening on the shop floor elsewhere. We have been doing this for years, and we’ve learned that things rarely go perfectly to plan. There is always a delay or a technical glitch to sort out. But we just keep at it. We’re a small team, and everyone knows what they need to do. We don’t spend much time on fancy marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. We just focus on the engineering and making sure the forgings are done right. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We have been in this building for a long time now.
