Orient Inn

We are located over on Rajendra Road, specifically Lala Lajpat Rai Sarani at number 30. There is a park nearby, Northern Park, where people walk in the mornings and kids play in the evenings. It’s a quiet-ish street for Kolkata, which is nice. The inn is just a basic building where we have rooms for guests to stay. I've lived in this city my whole life and this is what I do now. It’s not a five-star place or anything. We have stairs and a small area to wait while we get your room ready. Some days are busier than others, especially when there's something going on in the city. When the weather is hot, the fans are always on full speed. We get guests who are visiting family nearby or just need a cheap place to stay. I usually handle the keys and the bookings myself. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, but we fix it as fast as we can. It’s just a normal way to make a living for us. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit, with more traffic and cars now. But Northern Park is still there. People like staying here because it's not on the main road where all the buses are constantly honking. It’s just a simple inn with a door and some rooms. My wife helps with the laundry and we keep it clean.
