Mark Motel Private Ltd

We are over at 31/2A on Marquis Street. It is a tight spot, right in the middle of everything in Kolkata. If you know this part of town, you know it is always moving and never really stays quiet. We have been running Mark Motel for a while now. It is not some giant glass tower, just a solid building where we do our thing every day. Some of us live close by, others take the bus in every morning from further out. The street outside is loud and crowded, but inside we try to keep it decent for everyone. We deal with a lot of travelers coming through. Some are just here for a night, others stay much longer. We spend a lot of time fixing things like the elevators or leaky taps. It is an old building, so it needs a lot of care and attention. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the bills are correct. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we have a backup generator to keep things going. My uncle used to say that running a place like this is mostly about being there when someone needs a key or a fresh towel. We do not have a big office with a view, just a small desk near the front door. It feels like home for us. If you are walking down Marquis Street, you will see our sign.
