Orchard Building Llp is over at 159 Rabindra Sarani. We are on the second floor in room number 2 C. Rabindra Sarani is always a hive of activity, with trams and trucks and people everywhere. It is one of those classic Kolkata streets that never seems to sleep. Our office is a small room but we make it work. We have been involved in building projects for a while now. The space is a bit cramped because of all the files and samples we keep around. We do not have any flashy signs or expensive decor. It is just a place where we meet to plan our next steps. Most of our work happens out at the construction sites, so the office is mainly for the administrative side of things. We spend a lot of time dealing with vendors and making sure we have enough bricks and cement. It is not a very exciting job to talk about, but it is what we know. We try to be reliable and show up when we are supposed to. Sometimes things go wrong at a site and we have to drop everything to go fix it. That is just how the building business goes. We have a few regulars who stop by for tea and a chat. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to build decent structures that last. Our doors are usually open during normal hours for anyone who needs us.
