You can find Orbit Group Of Companies down at 7A, Jaigir Ghat Road. We are in the Thakurpukur area of Kolkata right near the Panch Masjid. The street is always full of life and the smell of food from the local stalls. Our office is an old building that has seen a lot of years. We have different sections for the various things we handle but it all feels like one big family. The floors are old stone and they stay cool even when the humidity in Kolkata is high. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people knowing us in the area for a long time. We have several desks pushed together and wires running along the floor for the computers. The guys usually take a break in the afternoon to go stand by the mosque or grab a quick snack. It gets loud with the horns honking on Jaigir Ghat Road but you get used to it after a week. We don't try to look like those big firms in the high-rise buildings. We are just local people working on various projects. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard we have to shut the windows tight and wait it out. It’s a real place with real people who just want to do a good day’s work. We’ve been here for a while and we know the neighborhood very well.
