You can find us on the 4th floor of a building at 10 A Devendra Ghosh Road in Kolkata. It’s Flat 4D, so it’s not a massive corporate floor, but it’s enough for what we need. Kolkata 25 has a lot of character, and our street is no different. You can hear the sounds of the city coming through the windows, especially during the busy hours. We are Oracle India Pvt Ltd, but we operate more like a close-knit group. The office isn't overly decorated; it’s mostly just functional with desks, chairs, and some filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time on our computers, but we always find time for a quick break to talk about the latest news or the football scores. The 4th floor gives us a bit of a view, though it’s mostly just other rooftops and the sky. When it rains, which happens a lot here, the sound on the roof is actually quite calming. We don't use any fancy management speak here. If something needs doing, we just say it and get to work. It’s a very grounded way of working. Most of us live nearby, so we don't have to deal with too much of a commute, which is a blessing. We like the local vibe of Devendra Ghosh Road. It feels like home to us, and that makes coming into work every morning a lot easier.
