Opk Impex (India) Pvt.Ltd. is located at 4A, Pollock Street, in unit 402 of the Swaika Centre. Being on Pollock Street means we are right in the heart of a very busy commercial district. The building itself, the Swaika Centre, is one of those older places that has seen a lot of businesses come and go over the years. Our office is on the fourth floor, and the elevator can be a bit moody, so we often find ourselves waiting or just walking up the stairs. Inside, it’s a typical import-export office with lots of files, shipping documents, and samples from different suppliers scattered around. We have a few desks squeezed in together, and the phone seems to ring at all hours because of the different time zones we deal with. It can be a bit chaotic when a shipment is stuck at the port and everyone is trying to track it down at the same time. The street outside is always noisy with honking cars and people selling things, but once you’re up in 402, it’s a bit quieter. We’ve got a small balcony where we keep some plants that are struggling a bit, but they add some life to the place. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything, just a heavy wooden door that we keep locked until someone knocks. It's a busy, cramped, and honest place to work, and we like the location despite the traffic.
