Offtrack Construction is tucked away at 3 K P Roy Lane. It’s a quiet enough street, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on plans. We aren't a massive company with a huge fleet of trucks. Usually, it’s just a couple of us sitting around a table with some tea, figuring out where the next batch of sand is coming from. Construction is a lot of waiting for things to happen and then rushing once they do. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and most of the neighbors know our faces. We don’t go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. If someone needs a building project looked at, they usually just find us through word of mouth. The office at K P Roy Lane is a bit cramped sometimes with all the blueprints and samples laying around. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time out on the ground anyway. Dealing with subcontractors and making sure the supplies show up is the main part of the day. It’s hard work, and your boots are always covered in dust. We don’t try to act like we’re some big international firm. We’re just a local outfit doing construction work in the area. Some days go better than others, especially when the machinery decides to behave, but that’s just how this business is.
