Not Working Currently

Our little spot is located at Nidhi Shree, right on Prince Baktiar Shah Road. If you know Kolkata, you know this area has its own pace. We are at 69T 10. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and some storage. The name Not Working Currently is on the door, though it’s a bit small. People walk past all the time going about their day. We’ve been at this Kolkata address for a bit now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’re fine for now. It gets pretty humid here in the summer, so the fan is always running. We like the neighborhood because it feels lived-in. There is a lot of history in these streets. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just handle our business day by day. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors, but we just walk it over to them. It's that kind of place. We don't have a big sign outside. You just have to know where to look. Prince Baktiar Shah Road is usually loud with horns and people chatting, but inside our unit, it's fairly steady. We don't do much in terms of decorating. Just some calendars and maybe a stray plant that someone forgot to water. It’s just us, working away in our corner of the city. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits us.
