Not Presently Working

Our small operation is located at 5 Swamiji Sarani in Kolkata. It's a typical Kolkata street, full of life and sometimes a bit of chaos. We go by the name Not Presently Working, which sounds a bit ironic since we are usually quite busy here. We've been at this address for quite a few years. The building is old, like many others in this part of town, but it has a solid feel to it. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us sitting at our desks or moving things around. Kolkata has a certain pace, and we fit right into it. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep us going. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have a lot of stuff, but we know where everything is kept. We don't use any big words or marketing talk to describe what we do. We just come in every morning, check what needs to be finished, and get to it. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes things a bit difficult, but we manage. Swamiji Sarani is a good place to be. We know the local vendors and the people who live nearby. It’s a community. We aren't some big faceless company. We are just a few people working out of a room on a busy street.
