None As I Am Unemployed

I'm living here at 7 C Binod Lal Ghosh Street in Kolkata. It’s a quiet part of the city, mostly. Right now, I don’t have a company to talk about because I’m looking for work. My days are spent mostly in this house or walking down the street to clear my head. You see a lot of people going to their offices every morning while I’m still here with my tea. The building has been here for a long time and the walls could probably use some paint, but it’s home. I spend a lot of time on the computer checking for openings or talking to neighbors who might know someone hiring. It gets a bit lonely sometimes when you don’t have a routine or a place to go, but I’m keeping at it. The street outside is usually busy with people coming and going from the main road. I’ve lived in Kolkata for a while now and I like the vibe of this area even if things are a bit slow for me personally at the moment. Being unemployed is just a phase, I hope. I have my certificates and my experience ready in a folder. Sometimes I just sit by the window and watch the rickshaws go by. It’s not a business, just a person trying to figure out the next step in life while staying at this address. I try to stay busy with small things every day.
