Nicco Ventures Ltd

Nicco Ventures Ltd is based at 253 Nayabad in the Garia area of Kolkata. This part of the city has changed a lot lately with many new buildings going up, but our spot is quite settled. We occupy a small building that used to be a house. It still has that homey feel to it, with wooden doors and small windows. Inside, we’ve set up our workstations in what used to be the bedrooms. It makes for a bit of a strange layout, but we like having our own separate spaces to concentrate. The main hallway is always full of boxes because we seem to be constantly getting new equipment or moving things around. There is a small garden out front that is mostly just grass and a few hardy bushes. We don't have a professional cleaning service, so we usually take turns tidying up the place ourselves. It’s the kind of office where you can wear your slippers and nobody cares. We spend most of our time dealing with venture projects and talking to people over the phone or email. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment, but we do get our work done. Sometimes in the evenings, we sit out on the porch for a few minutes before heading home. It is a quiet, reliable place to work from in West Bengal. We’ve been here at the Nayabad address for a while and don't plan on moving.
