It’s an old part of the city, which gives it some character, I guess. We spend our days inside looking at screens and talking about projects. It gets quite humid here in West Bengal, so the air conditioning is a must most of the year. We are just a group of people working together at Nicco Internet Ventures Limited. There isn't anything flashy about our setup. We have some old desks and plenty of cables everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait for the generator or just take a break. That’s just how it goes in this part of town. Iswar Ganguly Street has its own rhythm. You get used to the sounds of the bells from the temple nearby. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name. It is a very grounded place to work. No corporate fluff, just us doing our jobs every day in Kalighat. It's a busy life but we're used to it. We just keep the wheels turning day after day.
