We are located over in New Alipore, specifically on the first floor of Block E at 98N. It’s a decent area to work in, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you arrive after ten. At Rama Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., our day usually starts with a stack of emails from different time zones. We handle a lot of the logistical side of things here. The office isn't overly decorated; we have some old filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. There's a small kitchen area where we make coffee. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking the latest requirements for exports. It's a lot of detail work. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due to leave the port. The street outside is actually quite green for Kolkata, which is nice when you need a break. We've been at this address for a good number of years now. It’s just a handful of us working here. We don't do much in the way of big meetings. We just talk across the room. If a client comes by, we usually just pull up an extra chair. It’s a straightforward setup. We keep track of the inventory and make sure the documentation is in order before the day ends. We also have to keep an eye on the power cuts, though they aren't as bad as they used to be.
