Netscribes India Pvt Ltd is over at 22 1 Gorachand Road in Kolkata. It’s in the West Bengal 700014 area. This part of the city is quite old and has a lot of energy. The road itself is usually full of people and rickshaws going back and forth. Our office is right in the middle of all that. It’s an older building, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and dust. We have a few rooms where we keep the computers and the files. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters by any means. We just have what we need to get the job done. The staff is mostly local people who have been with us for a bit. We don't spend money on expensive furniture or decorations. We’d rather just have good fans and a working kettle for tea. The Gorachand Road area is great for street food, so lunch is always something to look forward to. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and some notes about what’s due. It’s a very grounded way of working. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life here. We just do the work as it comes and try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. It’s a real place with real people working in it. We try to keep the windows closed to keep the dust out.
