Our office is up on the 5th floor of Hmp House. It’s at 4, Fairlie Place, which is a busy part of the city. Neo Essel Dispoware has been here for some time now. We deal with disposable items, mostly things people use once and throw away. The building is quite old and the elevator can be a bit slow sometimes. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or checking stock lists. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a small team here. Everyone knows their role. We don't have fancy meetings or anything like that. We just look at what orders came in and figure out how to get them delivered. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just part of running a business. The view from the fifth floor isn't great, just other buildings and the street below. We get a lot of walk-ins who are looking for specific types of plates or containers. We try to keep enough on hand so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s a lot of counting and stacking. We’ve been in this trade for a while. Most of the people we work with are regulars who have known us for years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We aren't some big high-tech firm. We are just people selling paper and plastic goods. We keep the kettle on and try to stay organized despite the cramped space.
