Naviya Properties Llp is based at 11A/1C, East Topsia Road, right here in the 700046 area of Kolkata in West Bengal. We share this location with some other people, so it is always a bit lively around the building. Our side of the business is mostly about property and land issues. We spend a lot of time looking at deeds and talking to people about boundaries and permissions. It is not the most exciting work to hear about, but it is what we do every day. The office is pretty simple. We have our computers and a few old chairs for when visitors come by. East Topsia Road is a very busy stretch of road, so there is always the sound of horns and trucks in the background. It keeps us awake during the slow times. We do not do much in the way of promotion or advertising. Most of our clients come to us because they have something specific in this part of West Bengal they need help with. We try to be straight with people about things. If something is going to take six months to finish, we tell them it will take six months. There is no point in making things sound better than they actually are. We have a small team, and we all know our roles. We do not have big meetings; we just talk across the desks. It is a very direct way of working.
