We’re located at 7 Khetra Das Lane. If you’ve never been down this way, it’s one of those narrow little lanes that’s very easy to walk right past if you aren't paying attention. We do infrastructure work, which is really just a broad way of saying we help build the things that the city needs to keep running. It might be a small road project or something to do with the local water lines. We don't have a big fancy storefront with bright signs. It’s just a plain office where we keep our tools, our boots, and our project files. The lane outside is usually pretty noisy with neighbors talking and kids running around. We actually like it that way; it feels much more like a real community than those sterile office parks. Our team is made up of guys who have been working in construction for a long time. We aren't really interested in making things look better than they actually are. Construction and infrastructure work is often dirty, loud, and it almost always takes longer than the first estimate. We just try to be honest about those things. When we start a new project, we mostly focus on getting the foundations exactly right. It isn't the most exciting part of the job, but it’s the most important. Sometimes we have to work in really tight spaces next to very old buildings, so you have to be extra careful. We’ve been around Kolkata for many years now and people know us.
