Nav Bharat Infrastructure Andconstruction Private Limited is based out of a flat on Motilal Nehru Road. We are in Flat 3B on the third floor of number 2. It’s a residential building, so it feels a lot more like a home than a typical office. We have desks set up where a dining table might usually be. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Living and working in the same neighborhood makes things easy for us. We spend a lot of time looking at maps and construction drawings spread out across the floor. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs. It’s a good way to stay active. We aren't the type of people to wear suits and ties. Most of us are in jeans and boots because we are usually headed to a site or just coming back from one. There’s always someone making tea in the small kitchen. We talk about projects while we eat our lunch. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it’s how we’ve always operated. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do our infrastructure work and let the results speak for themselves. If the neighbors hear us talking loudly about concrete and steel, they don't seem to mind much. We've been in this building for quite a while.
