Naba Nirman Private Limited operates out of the second floor on Kiron Shankar Roy Road. It is a busy spot near the center of town. We are actually located care of Gouranga Mitra at 8/2. The building has that old Kolkata feel to it, with the high ceilings and the sound of the city coming through the windows. Working here means dealing with the heat and the crowds, but it’s where we’ve set up shop. We spend most of our time looking at plans and sorting out the details for our various building projects. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and suppliers. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We try to stay organized, though the desk usually ends up covered in papers by midday. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to do our bit and keep things running smoothly for everyone involved. Being in West Bengal, especially in this specific part of Kolkata, keeps us right in the middle of everything. It's practical for us. We know the local people and how things work around here. If you need to find us, just head up to the second floor. We are usually there drinking tea and figuring out the next step for our current work.
