Finding us inside Kamalya Centre on Lenin Sarani can be a bit of a trick if you haven't been here before. Shop number 38 is tucked away, surrounded by all the noise and rush of Dharmatala. This area of Kolkata is always moving, and my shop is no different. We have been here for a good while now, dealing with all sorts of system repairs and hardware issues. The space is a bit cramped because we have so many towers and spare parts stacked up against the walls. It’s a busy building and you can hear the street sounds all day long. I started Mukul Computer Systems because I liked taking things apart and putting them back together. Now, people bring in their old desktops that look like they’ve seen better days, and I see what I can do. It’s a lot of work with motherboards, RAM sticks, and power supplies. Sometimes it gets hot in the shop during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. Being in Dharmatala means we see people from all over the city coming through. It isn't a corporate office; it’s a working shop with tools on the benches and parts on the floor. We just handle what comes through the door.
