M/S P N Mondal & Engineering Works

Here at M/S P N Mondal & Engineering Works, we deal with a lot of metal and machine parts every day. Our workshop is located over in Ghuni Laskarpara, which is part of the New Town area. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the tools and machines running all through the afternoon. We’ve been working out of this spot for some time now. Mostly, we take on repair jobs or fabricate specific parts when someone brings in a drawing or a broken piece that needs a replacement. It’s dusty and there’s usually grease on the floors. That’s just how an engineering shop looks when work is actually being done. We don't have a big front office. It's just the workspace where the actual work happens. The guys here know their way around the lathes and welding sets. Sometimes we stay late to finish a project if a client is in a hurry to get their machinery back. New Town has changed a lot lately. But this corner of Ghuni Laskarpara still feels like the old neighborhood to us. We get all sorts of people coming in, from locals needing a small fix to bigger contractors looking for custom bits. We just take it one job at a time. There’s no fancy talk here. Just the sound of hammers and drills. We keep our tools sharp and try to make sure everything we build is solid and works like it should.
