Mohan Jute Mills Ltd. is based over at 16A Palace Court on Kyd Street. It’s an older part of the city, and the building itself has that classic, heavy feel to it. Jute has been around for a very long time, and we’ve been part of that world for a good while ourselves. The office has high ceilings and a lot of old wooden furniture that has definitely seen better days, but it still does the job for us. We spend our time dealing with the mills and making sure the production side of things is moving along without too many breaks. It isn't always easy work, and there are often problems to solve, like machinery breaking down or transport issues on the road. We don’t try to act like we’re some big high-tech firm. We’re just a jute company trying to keep a traditional industry going in a world that is always changing. The street outside is always full of life, and sometimes the noise drifts in through the windows, but we don't mind it much. We have a small, dedicated team here, and everyone knows exactly what they’re supposed to do. We don’t have fancy brochures or a big mission statement hanging on the wall. We just show up every morning, check the latest reports from the mills, and try to make sure everything is in order before we leave for the night.
