We operate out of Baitalik Co Operative Housing Society in Baghajatin. It's a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it's where we are. Miri Technologies and Ami Industries share this space at A 1 12. Kolkata is always busy, and Baghajatin is no different. The society is mostly quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to focus. We’ve been in this KMDA area for some time. There’s a lot of paperwork usually piled up on the desks. We deal with various industrial things and tech bits. It’s not a showroom. It’s more of an office where things actually happen behind the scenes. The neighbors know us, and we know the local chai stall nearby. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and equipment, but it works for us. We started here because it was convenient. Being in a housing society means you have to be mindful of the noise, so we keep things low-key. Most of our day is spent on the phone or on the computer. It’s a very normal office life. We aren't doing anything glamorous. It’s just about getting the tasks finished before the sun goes down. Kolkata has that specific smell of old buildings and rain, and our office has that too. It feels like home after a while. We just keep our heads down and work. There are always boxes of samples sitting in the corners waiting to be sent out.
