Mgt System Institute

Mgt System Institute is based in Kolkata, specifically at Teen Kanya Apartment, 103 2 Purba Diganta in Santoshpur. It’s actually located inside an apartment building, which gives it a very different feel from a typical commercial office. You have to walk up the stairs and past the neighbors' doors to get to us. The space is a converted flat, so it has a kitchen area we use for breaks and a living room that serves as the main work area. Santoshpur is a nice, mostly residential part of the city, so it’s usually quieter than the main downtown spots. We have a few computers set up on long tables and some bookshelves lined with technical manuals. The balcony looks out over the street where you can see the local vendors selling vegetables in the morning. It’s a very personal sort of place to work. We know the people who live in the building and they know us. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it's just a delivery for one of the other apartments. We don't have any big neon signs or a formal reception desk. It’s just a quiet institute where we focus on our systems and training. The floors are red oxide, which is common in older Kolkata buildings, and it gives the whole place a bit of a nostalgic feeling. We like it here because it feels like being part of the neighborhood. It’s just a small, functional space in Purba Diganta.
