MAXIMAL CONSTRUCTION LLP is based right on 1A Ashutosh Mukherjee Road here in Kolkata. Being on such a main road means there’s always noise and movement outside, which kind of matches the way we work. We are a construction firm, plain and simple. We don't have a PR team or a bunch of people writing fancy slogans for us. Most of the time, our boots are a bit dusty and our minds are on the next load of cement coming in. The office is a practical space where we handle the logistics of building across the city. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the right people are at the right site at seven in the morning. We’ve seen the city change a lot over the years, and being part of the construction industry means we see it from the ground up. It’s not always easy, what with the monsoon rains or the heat, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. If a wall needs building or a site needs developing, we get to it. We don't promise the moon, just honest work that stands up over time. Our team knows the West Bengal building scene pretty well, from the old parts of town to the newer sections. It’s just us, working out of our Ashutosh Mukherjee Road spot, trying to make sure every project we finish is something we aren't ashamed of.
