Mark Engineers

Mark Engineers is tucked away at 56/B on Nepal Bhattacharjee 1st Lane. We are quite close to Rashbehari Avenue in the Kalighat area. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, which gives it a lot of character and noise. Our workshop is in a traditional building, and we’ve tried to keep things simple inside. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't local, but we like being here. The noise of the city is always in the background while we work on our projects. We mostly handle engineering jobs for people around the neighborhood and some from further away who’ve heard about us from friends. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our tools have been with us for years, and they still work just fine for what we do. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and fixing things that others might find difficult or annoying. It’s a hands-on kind of place, and we prefer it that way. Sometimes the lane gets flooded during the heavy rains, but we just put on our boots and keep going. We aren’t a corporate giant, just a small group of people who know their way around machinery and enjoy working with our hands. We take our work seriously but we’re pretty relaxed about everything else. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of grease and busy with a lathe. It's just a normal workshop trying to stay busy.
