You’ll find us over at 18/2/20 Uday Sankar Sarani in Kolkata. Manzana Developers Private Limited has been based here for some time now. It’s a bit of a specific address to find if you aren’t from around here, but it’s our little corner of the city. We work on various development projects from this office. It’s not a polished corporate suite with leather chairs. It’s just a workspace with some desks and a lot of paperwork scattered around. We have a small team of dedicated people who handle everything from the initial plans to the final details of our projects. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just focus on showing up and doing the work that needs to be done each week. Sometimes we stay late when we’re trying to figure out a problem with a site, and other times we’re out in the field most of the week. Kolkata is a busy city and being a developer here means you have to be ready for anything. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized. It’s not always easy, but it’s the business we’re in. We don’t do much advertising; most people find us through word of mouth or by seeing our signs at different sites. We’re just a group of regular people working in development and trying to make a living.
