Mantra Talent Management Servuices is situated in S 5, Cluster IV of the Purbachal Housing Society in Saltlake City. Kolkata is a city that loves to talk, and that’s basically what we do all day. We spend our time meeting people, looking at their backgrounds, and trying to find where they might fit in a new job. Working inside a housing society gives the office a very different feel than a downtown skyscraper. It’s more relaxed and feels a bit more personal. We don’t have a big HR department or a floor full of cubicles. It’s just a few rooms where we conduct interviews and keep our files. Sometimes we have people coming in for interviews all day, and other times it’s just us catching up on emails. Finding the right person for a role is more of an art than a science, and we’ve had plenty of hits and misses over the years. We like the community vibe in Purbachal, and you can often find us grabbing a snack from a nearby vendor during lunch. We don't use a lot of fancy corporate jargon when we talk to candidates. We just try to be real with them about what a job involves. It’s about connecting people, and we try to do that as simply and honestly as we can from our little office here. There is no magic to it, just a lot of conversations and phone calls.
