Up on the 9th floor at 4 Govt Place you can see a bit of the city. We share some space with Olisa Reality Pvt Ltd. It’s a busy building right near the Raj Bhavan area. Being Manomaya Infra Developers Private Limited means we are always thinking about the next project. The elevators in this building are old and slow sometimes. You have to wait a while if you come at lunch. We have a few desks and a lot of coffee cups lying around. It is a professional spot but we don't act like big shots. We just do the work. Infrastructure is a big word but for us it just means making sure things get built. Being in central Kolkata helps because we are close to all the government offices. That makes the paperwork a bit easier to handle though it still takes forever. We spend a lot of time in meetings or looking at maps. The 9th floor gets a nice breeze when the windows are open. Most of our days are spent coordinating with contractors and checking on supplies. It is a lot of logistics. We have been here for a bit now and the routine is the same. Come in, check the messages, and get to the sites. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in this big city. It is a lot of walking back and forth.
